Kings Island

We spent all day Saturday at Kings Island just outside of Cincinnati Ohio. It was a blast, and a great family place. They have amazing roller coasters for adults and plenty of rides for the little ones as well. They have the longest wood roller coaster in the world called "The Beast" and then they made "Son of the Beast" which has a loop on a wooden roller coaster. So this is a GREAT place to come for a thrill. Now that I put my plug in for them, here are the pictures of what we did. And we didn't even go on all the roller coasters, we just ran out of time. So if anyone wants to go with us, we would love to go back!

Alexis' Family with Megan & Bryson

Uncle BJ playing with Bryson
Boy doesn't this ride look fun!?! We waited for over an hour to get on this and it is so slow and definitely not worth the wait. Isn't amazing what you will do for your kids.
Waiting in line for the ride
Can you tell that we were bored? I haven't gone cross eyed in years for a picture!
Us on the ride

This ride was so funny, they would get whipped around the corner and Megan would go flying into the little boy that she sat next to. I filmed while my mom took pictures. It was hilarious!

Megan at the Dora show. You can see Dora and Boots way in the back.

What a fun trip. Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun time!

On the farm

We had a blast playing at the farm. We went there to go pick raspberries, but we played too long and didn't get around to it, then we found out that they weren't sending out any tractors to pick anything, so we lucked out on that one. But we had a lot of fun playing, as you can see!

Petting & feeding the animals

Alexis & Bryson chilling in the shade trying to keep cool
The corn cannon!!

Megan had to put the corn in the cannon and then...
she would plug her ears, because it was really loud
She would even run as far away as she could, but would take the corn with her so that she could load up the next one. Silly girl!

Bryson didn't like the sound of the cannon either.

The Apple Launch

Grandpa Nordgren showing Megan how it is done Grandpa launching an apple with the grand kids, no we were not attempting to launch Bryson.
Megan showing Alexis how to launch the apple
Bryson got so excited when he got to play with the sling shot

Who knew that sitting on a bunch of plastic animals would be this entertaining? Megan had to get a picture again on every animal, but this time she had more people taking pictures that she gladly posed on each animal.

Megan took a ride on the cow train, everyone else was too big to ride.

Our First Visitors!

My family came out from Utah to visit for 5 days. We were so excited to have our first visitors and they were our guinea pigs to test out how everything works with visitors. And everything went well, so now we can handle anyone! So please come and visit, we would love to see everyone! So here are a bunch of pictures from their visit.
My parents came baring gifts for the kids from their recent trip to Disneyland & their great Grandma. Bryson loved opening the presents. It was a good test run before his B-day.

Best Buddies!

Megan loves her little brother! Here they are sitting out on our back deck listening for cows. No, there usually aren't cows in hearing range from our house, but this week is the county fair and it is just beyond all the trees in our backyard so you can hear the cows mooing every once in awhile. It is actually good entertainment to stick Megan out there listening for cows. I actually started mooing through the window while she was outside and she thought that it was a cow. Silly mommy!

Rub a Dub Dub 2 kids in the Tub!

Taking their Saturday night bath & having fun. Bryson was having too much fun splashing I just had to take a picture. Just check out those baby blue eyes, you just can't help but love him!
