Around here, when rain turns to ice everything seems to shut down. It looks very beautiful, but not fun to go out in.
School was canceled, Josh stayed home from work and we got to hang out all day long. Luckily we had plenty to do and friends to play with to pass the time.
Doesn't it look like a big ice skating rink?
We are grateful that we didn't lose any power like last year.

I would take snow over ice any day. Not a fun time to be out and about!
