Grandma Kelly came out to help us get ready and have the baby... unfortunately our little girl had something else in mind. Despite all of our trying to get my body to go into labor it didn't cooperate while she was here. We took long walks, lots of shopping, and everything but drinking caster oil to put me into labor.
So this is as close to holding Kaitlynn Grandma got. It made all of us very sad.
But the visit wasn't a total bust. Grandma stayed busy decorating our newly finished basement. We did a lot of shopping at the local flea market and found some great finds. Grandma has a great eye to find and organize items to make things look good.
Bryson wasn't being very cooperative for his picture, but I think that these pictures turned out really cute.
Connor was very sad to have Grandma leave. He fell asleep on the way to the airport and when he woke up he was so sad that she was gone.
We always enjoy having Grandma come visit, but we were REALLY SAD that she didn't get the chance to meet Kaitlynn.
