Millionaire's Row

Josh and I had the privilege to go to Churchill Downs and sit on Millionaire's Row for Josh's work party. We learned about horse racing and about betting on the races. It was fun to pick a horse and watch it run and see if your horse comes in first, and since we don't bet we didn't have to worry about losing anything if our horse didn't come in first. But it was really fun and a big rush when it is the stretch before the finish line and everyone is yelling for their horse to win. You could always tell who won and who lost after the race was over. I never thought that I would get into horse racing, but I guess it becomes a part of you when you live in Kentucky!

Cute Elephant!

We went for another day at the zoo today and checked out the cute baby elephant. They were doing exercises with them today so that was fun to watch; and then we went and cooled off at the splash park.

Swimming with Dad

We were so excited that Josh was able to come swimming with us last saturday. The kids loved having their Dad there to play with them!

The Movies

I took Megan to the movies today and it was her 1st time in the movie theatre. They have $1 movies for kids and parents, and they showed "Clifford's really big movie." She had a blast sitting in the chairs and bouncing in them since they rocked. Bryson also had fun, and lucky for me he fell asleep.

Warn all the girls!!! Bryson is showing it all, and he is proud of it!! He even has a farmer's tan, he is all Kentucky! Now we have something to embarrass him with when he starts to date!

A day at the park

We went down town with some friends and hung out at the water front park down by the Ohio river. Keeping busy and cool!
