Splash Park

Megan, Bryson and I headed to the zoo again with some friends. We went more for the new splash park and checked out a couple animals on our way in and out. It took Megan a really long time to get in the water. She doesn't like water that she can't control, but once she got in there was no taking her out. She figured out how to get in to the slide with out getting hit by the jumping water.

Bryson loved watching everything. I really think that he wanted to be out playing. Once we pulled in he just wanted out of his stroller and wouldn't get back in.

I had to take a few pictures since no one would look at the camera and Megan was in a different pose in every shot. But this ended up being the best picture, and still no one is looking!

Bryson is growing up so fast. He is almost sitting up on his own, and will sit for at least a couple minutes before falling.

Bryson loves to stick his tongue out all the time. So I had to catch this picture to show you how cute he is. He will also entertain himself by spitting. He thinks he is the coolest when he spits. I just think that he is so cute!!

A day at the pool

We headed up to the pool this past week and had a lot of fun. It was Bryson's first time in a pool and he loved it. He would get so excited and start to splash himself and then wouldn't know what was happening. Megan also loved the pool, I couldn't even get her out of there once it was time to go. She was a human raisen. Check her out showing off her muscles!

Memorial Day

We had a wonderful Memorial Day filled with lots of fun activities. Since Josh had the day off we used up every minute with fun things to do. We first went up to Huber's Farm and picked strawberries so that we could make some jam. Megan had a blast picking the strawberries and eating them as well. She also had to have a picture sitting on every animal there, so here are just a couple...

After picking strawberries we headed to a BBQ with some of our friends where they had lots of great food and fun. We had fun relaxing while the kids played in the pool and swing set. Oh, funny story... We didn't know there was going to be swimming there so we hadn't brought Megan's swimsuit, but she so badly wanted to be in the pool with the other kids that she stripped down and almost jumped in naked before we caught her. I wish that I had my camera ready, that would have been great for when she gets older. But I just got the couple pictures here and got too busy with Bryson spitting up all over and talking.
