Bryson's 1st Birthday Party

Caution... LOTS of pictures ahead!!!

Our first day in Utah my sister, Jess, threw an all out party for Bryson's 1st birthday and her daughter, Kylie's 2nd birthday. Unfortunately the weather was really bad keeping some people away to celebrate with us. But we are grateful for who did come. Well I don't think that I need to explain most of these pictures, I think that they speak for themselves. Don't forget to notice all the little details of how "all out" my sister went on this party. I think that she did an AMAZING job, Thanks Jess!!

The Set Up
The Cake

Bryson didn't really dig in and get too messy. I don't know if he is just a neat guy, or if he was just too tired. It was WAY passed bedtime.

Who was there
Thanks for everyone who came, especially in the horrible storm. And thanks again to Jess for the amazing party, and extra pounds! I love you all!

Not so Bad Airplane Rides

I am back from my trip to Utah to visit my family, there were a few bumps, dents, cuts & cracks along the way, but we got back safely. I will fill you in more as I try and catch up on my posts and life at home.
Smooth Sailing
The long anticipated airplane rides... weren't as bad as I was imagining. We did go to the store the night before and buy each of them a new toy for the flight (thanks to many of your suggestions) Both the flights to Utah were not full so I got to have the entire row to myself. There wasn't the screaming out of control kids and a stewardess asking me to leave the plane like I was imagining. Instead, Bryson slept for a little bit (until another baby started crying and woke him up... there was some crying then) played with his new toy, and Megan watched a movie, colored and fell asleep to her movie, so then Bryson got to watch a movie. Not bad. On the way home, our 3 hour flight was full so I had to share the row with a lady, who just dropped her son off to the MTC to go on his mission to Uruguay, where my little brother is going. She was very nice and even helped Megan to the bathroom since Bryson was sleeping. I was very lucky to have sat next to such a nice lady. It was even nicer that Bryson slept for half of the flight, didn't have any poopy diapers, and was happy. I didn't even have to use the DVD player. I even got a chance to take pictures of the clouds. I think that it looks so cool flying on top of the clouds. I just wonder if when we go through the clouds and can't see anything, if our pilot is flying blind. Kinda scary. We did make it home safely, and things went good. Thanks for all of your suggestions, and good luck Katie on your 23 hour flight, I do not admire you!

Happy 28th Birthday Josh!

Today we celebrate Josh's birthday, we don't have much planned for the day. Josh is at work, what everyone likes to do on their birthday, then once he gets home we are off to the temple for our Branch temple night. It will be nice to get some alone time, away from the kids. Then once we get home, have some leftover birthday cake and then put the kids to bed and go to bed ourselves. Tomorrow we will go out to dinner at Josh's choice of dining, and I will be packing to leave him for 6 days. So I guess you could say that that is his birthday present, a quiet house with no whining kids and no nagging wife.
Well, I also wanted to share what a wonderful person Josh is. Not like any of you didn't already know. But he is so amazing, I really lucked out when he chose me to marry him. He is great with the kids, he changes diapers, cleans up throw up, feeds the kids, plays with them & provides for all of us, even though he doesn't like his job all the time. He cooks, cleans, dresses sexy, dances amazing & is funny. I think that he is wonderful, what do you like about Josh? Please share something either you like or a fun memory, if you don't want to comment then please e-mail him or I. And have fun checking out all the pictures of him throughout the years.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

So I am leaving to visit my family in 2 days and I am DREADING the plane flight there & back with Megan & Bryson. I am just imagining Megan turning into a little Devil, not listen to me and annoying the person that we are sitting next to, and Bryson screaming, whining, crying the whole flight and not wanting to sit still, and also annoying the person that we are sitting next to. I would LOVE it if Megan sat still, left her seat belt on the entire flight, listened to everything I had to say and obeyed, being a perfect little angel. Bryson quietly playing with his toys and even better, sleeping during the flight. But I KNOW that that won't happen, so here is where I need all the advice that I can get. PLEASE HELP ME!!! Any advice or ideas on how to make this a successful airplane trip? Thanks in advance!

Blue's Banana Muffins

Yesterday Megan and I made Blue's Banana Muffins from one of her Blue's Clues books. Megan tried to make them all by herself, but realized that she needed help to read the recipe. If you would like to try them here is the recipe it's easy and good for kids too, and they are yummy!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar
2. Add: 1/4 cup sour cream, 2 eggs, 3 mashed large bananas, & 1 tsp. vanilla.
3. Mix: 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder & 1 1/2 cups flour, and then add to the mixture.
4. Pour batter into greased muffin tins (or lined with muffin cups)
5. Bake for 20-30 minutes until muffins are golden brown and spring back to the touch. (I found out that 25 min was too long, and 20 min was a little too short. But that is where I live and with my oven.) ENJOY!

I thought that this picture was so funny how Bryson stuck the beater in his mouth and is drooling everywhere. It reminds me of someone wearing head gear.

Josh's Birthday Party

Since I am leaving out of town next week we decided to celebrate Josh's birthday with our friends this weekend. So here are some pictures of the eventful night. We had our friends bring over D.D.R. and so we all danced and laughed at each other and the kids even got in on the action.

Josh making his birthday cake, I tried to do it, but since I made mine, he wouldn't let me touch his cake. And for anyone who is wondering, it is an Oreo mint chocolate chip ice cream cake! (Yummy!!)

Testing, Testing, 1 2 3

I finally received my NEW camera for my Birthday! We had to look around for the best deal on the camera and we found one, so we got it. So now we are trying to figure out how to use it to its fullest. So here are some of the funny & cute pictures that we got. I guess you could title this...
Hanging out with the Kellys.

My Favorite!Megan playing with our old camera. Here are a few of the pictures that Megan captured on her photo shoot. Of course there were a ton of pictures of all the furniture around the house, but here are a few of the best shots.

Too sweet!
