Family & Farewells

Here are a few select pictures of my crazy family.

My 2 favorite sisters, and me!

Me, my Mother & Jess
We attempted to take a picture of all the grand kids with Grandma & Grandpa, what were we thinking doing this at night, right before we were going to leave? ... this was our best shot.
My adorable nephew, James
My cousin, Janelle, & me!
Farewells
Saying good-bye is the hardest part about going home. It's even harder watching your child get so sad because they don't completely understand and don't want to leave. Luckily we will be returning in a couple of months
Bryson slept through all of the good-byes.
Thanks family for the fun time, can't wait till next time!

Gingerbread Houses

My Mom wanted to make gingerbread houses with her 2 grand daughters, here are a few pictures of the fun they had.

Silly Faces & Bum Shakes

Here is just something to make you laugh. A few of the pictures that we caught on camera.
This one is called the Nordgren Glare... I wonder who taught her that one.
"Go faster Daddy, faster."
I don't know what to call this one
My niece Kylie
There's the Nordgren glare again, is that where we get it?
Now this is just a fun video of Megan shaking her bum, she is really quite the dancer. But please forgive me, cause once again I tilted the camera, so just tilt your head with it too.

Haircuts!

Bryson & I went and got our hair cut while we were in Utah. This was Bryson's first hair cut! He did VERY well, and he looks VERY handsome now! I also cut some length off my hair and added some red highlights.

Great Grandma & Grandpa

I always love coming home to see my Grandma & Grandpa Stevenson. I don't look forward to the day when we travel home and Grandma or Grandpa aren't there to visit. We really enjoy all of our time with both of them and are VERY GRATEFUL for everything they have given us. Grandma hates looking at the camera, so I am very grateful for the good pictures that we got. We LOVE you Grandma & Grandpa, I am grateful that you were able to meet Bryson.

Ice Skating

My little sister, Tosha, LOVES to ice skate and has been wanting to take Megan ice skating for the longest time. So we decided to take the kids out to the ice skating rink. My older sister, Jess, took her daughter, Kylie, for the first time also. Megan LOVED it and didn't want to stop. By the end of the session Megan was skating slowly on her own! Hurray Megan, must have been your great teacher!

Proof that I was there too!
Megan only fell down 5 times!

You can check out this video of Megan ice skating. I am still trying to figure out my camera and turned it sideways, not thinking that it would come up that way. Yes, Josh got a kick out of all my little "duh" moments.

High School Friend Luncheon

While in Utah, I got to spend a lunch with some girlfriends from high school. We got together at my friend Marynika's house and had a good time catching up. Here are a few of pictures from our outing.

It was a lot of fun catching up and hanging out, we will have to do it again, next time hopefully Mandy will be able to join us! We missed you!

It's Snowing!

The day we arrived in Utah it was SNOWING! It made life a little exciting, we hadn't seen a good snow fall like this in a while.
So everything was going GREAT! We had just arrived at my parent's house, it looked so pretty...
We were getting ready to go to Bryson's birthday party and see more family, so my sister, Tosha, Bryson & I, got in the car (after my Dad scraped it off for me, thanks Dad! And gave me the "it's slippery out there" talk so be careful, also telling me that their tires are bald. I didn't care, I was going to drive 10 MPH anyways like the rest of the cars.) So we head off down the road...
And we didn't get far (a block) before I tried turning and slid right into the curb. I was freaking out, Bryson was crying, and my sister was just glad that we didn't hit another car. I sat there for a little while till a nice guy who saw me hit the curb had pulled over and came out to help me in case I was stuck. I don't know if I was, but he helped me out anyways, and we headed back to my parents house to assess the damage.
Luckily it wasn't too bad, it dented the rim and the hub cap. After cleaning off the red paint, and taking the car to my friend, David, to fix it up, it is now as good as new (Thanks David!!) but I am still a little scared to drive in slippery weather, but we did make it to Bryson's party, thanks to Dad driving us all there safely!

Happy Birthday Bryson!

Today is Bryson's OFFICIAL Birthday! Unfortunately for him, he is sick. He has been throwing up all weekend, and still isn't doing well. But Bryson has been one joyful kid to have in our family. His contagious laugh, adorable smile & big blue eyes, makes it hard to get mad at him over anything. Bryson isn't walking yet, but sure loves to cruise along furniture. He is a little afraid of falling, which I don't blame him when he fractured his arm falling. I really can't believe that it has only been 1 year, it seems like he has been in our family forever. He is really started to talk, or at least try to. I catch him doing the cutest things all the time, and also catch him getting into everything around the house. I thought that I had it baby proofed, but he is proving me wrong. We definitely love having Bryson in our family, and Megan LOVES having a little brother, I am sure that will change when he will beat her up. Enjoy the collage of pictures of Bryson's first year of life. As you can see it was really hard to pick pictures, so there are a lot! More the merrier right?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYSON!!
