Here is Bryson this morning, what happened you wonder? Well, we walked Megan to the bus stop this morning and it was POURING rain. I did have a HUGE umbrella, which apparently did nothing. Since Bryson looked like that and my whole back side was drenched as well. Once we got to the bus stop I realized that I probably should have drove, yeah, a little late on the thinking this morning, luckily I just bought this jacket for him so that he didn't get his cast all wet. On the way home I decided to just run for it, so I put the umbrella on the front of the stroller to cover Bryson, which then made it so I couldn't see (yes HUGE umbrella) and I just ran, dodging puddles along the way. I think that we were out in it at the worst time.

10 Months Old!
Happy 10 Month Birthday to Bryson!
It's amazing at how fast he has grown and developed. He is always smiling and laughing, and of course loves attention! At 10 months he is sort of crawling (the cast makes it kinda hard), waving hi, babbling, and he got his first tooth. Such a wonderful son, we love you so much!

Bryson's New Weapon
Today Bryson got his cast on his arm. I think that he did pretty well, even though there were a few heart breaking moments. We got a pretty good play by play of the whole thing. I took a couple of pictures and then let Megan take pictures to keep her busy, and she did a pretty good job. So check out the visit.
Putting the cast on...

Not so happy anymore

Poor Baby!
Picking out the cast color... we chose glow in the dark.

Poor Baby!Checking it out

Megan wanted to be in the picture too
Bryson trying to adjust at home
He had a really hard time adjusting, but by bedtime he was doing better and was actually army crawling around and playing with his toys. He will have to wear the cast for 3 weeks, then he will be a lot stronger for having to wear that cast, man is that thing heavy!

World's Largest Halloween Party!

We went to the Zoo's Halloween party Friday night and, Megan was dressed as a Snow Princess & Bryson was a chicken. Megan wanted a picture with almost every character that we saw, so I included it all in a collage instead of a ton of pictures. (You can click on it to see them bigger.) But what fun to see all the characters and all the other kids dressed up in costumes. We may go back again, since we get in free with our zoo passes, so we want to get our moneys worth. Plus there are a few animals out to see. I mean really do you think that Bryson is going to eat ANY of the candy that he got? But yet we still get candy for him. I think that it is the only way grown ups can get themselves candy, by dressing up their babies.
The Snow Princess & The Chicken
There once was a Snow Princess and a Chicken came and danced with the Snow Princess. Along came a crocodile and the pumpkin and the tree jumped into the air. Along came a pink crocodile and ate the Princess and the Chicken. THE END (Written by Megan Kelly)
Megan started making up a story when they were all dressed up, so I asked her to tell it to me again, really it is a lot longer then I wrote, but I decided to make it short, since it just consists of "Along came a... which, pumpkin, more crocodiles, paper to wrap them in...and so forth, with anything that she could see." But I thought that it was really cute, our little story teller!

Little Bones
Yesterday was a crazy day which then carried over to today. Last night Josh was playing with Bryson and having him stand against the couch, when Megan decided that she wanted the attention and sneak in front of Bryson, which of course knocked him over. He cried for awhile, and while I was comforting him, there was a knock at the door... who could it be? Of course, it was the Branch President and his counselor coming over for a visit, which Josh forgot to tell me about, so all of us are in pajamas, dinner just finished cooking, and there were toys everywhere. I felt bad. So after the hour visit and talking about neglecting our children's broken bones... we eat our cold dinner and put our children to bed. Bryson on the other hand woke up several times last night, so I gave him Tylenol and teething tablets all night. After a long morning of trying to get Bryson to sleep longer so that I could sleep, I finally decided to wake up, which was very painful, (I am even more sore today then I was yesterday from my tae bo.) So I put Bryson in the bathroom while I showered, and to my surprise he was still in the same spot that I put him in when I was done. When he usually is crawling (more squirming) all over getting into everything. So I tested it out, and put the door stop back in (which I took out since he always loves to take it out and chew on it) and he would attempt to crawl, but wouldn't move. So I figured something was wrong, cuz usually once he sees the door stop he crawls as fast as he can to get it before I take it out. So I called the doctor and got him an apt. She sent us to get an x-ray, and after a lot of hobbling around (yes still sore) we found out that he has a buckle fracture and he has to go in on Monday to get a cast on it. They figured that he is being too careful with it that he won't hurt it anymore. But seriously, I am more afraid of Megan hurting it more. So hopefully on Monday it won't be broken. So keep posted for pictures of Bryson in his cast. And if anyone has any suggestions on how to make me feel any better besides stretching (I'm doing that) please let me know. The only good thing is that Josh thinks I walk sexy! Really I just think that he is trying to make me feel better. Oh, and to my credit Bryson did cut a tooth too, poor boy!

Tae Bo & Big Boys
What do these 2 things have in common? Nothing, besides there is a Big boy on the front of the Tae Bo picture!
Now that we have a second vehicle, I have been able to go do more things. One of the new things that I decided to try out is Tae Bo. For one of our Church Enrichment activities they teach Tae Bo, and we are very lucky to actually have a professional teaching us, which is my claim to fame, our instructor tours with Billy Blanks and is in his videos. So you KNOW that we are getting a good work out, and believe me I am SORE today! I don't even want to know what I am going to feel like tomorrow.
So after my class I was playing with Bryson before I had to go pick up Megan from school and I was realizing what a big boy Bryson is, especially since he is in his winter clothes today, since it was FREEZING today. It dropped 12 degrees from yesterday. Beside the point, I am just amazed at what a big boy he has become it was just like the other day that he was layed in my arms for the first time. Boy how time flies!

Bryson's Tricks
Bryson's new trick is to wave "hi!" It was really hard to get him to do it for the camera, but he did. He was watching Megan take her bath, and was just too excited, since he LOVES taking baths.
Bryson also has the funniest laugh. I don't know if it is his "real" laugh. But it almost sounds cartoonish. (is that even a word?) It always makes me laugh. Again, hard to do on the camera with only 10 sec to record.

Just Playin Around
I was downstairs with the kids letting them play while I scrap booked and Megan set up her own little home inside her tent and invited Bryson in to play with her. You could just hear them laughing and Megan reading stories to Bryson and all her animals. I grabbed the camera and sneaked some pictures. But of course with my kids, they see the camera and they smile.
