Whirlwind Weekend

This past weekend was a crazy one for us. Megan and I have been sick, Megan was getting over her sickness and I was in the thick of mine. But we had so many fun things going on that we couldn't miss. Luckily we were both on medications by then and starting to feel better.
On Friday Josh held his first Elders Quorum family party as Elders Quorum president. They held a BBQ at one of the presidency members houses and they did tractor rides for the kids... (a great way to babysit all the kids!)
and horse rides

Bryson even dared to ride all by himself.
Then we roasted marshmallows and had smores for dessert. It really was a great activity.
The next morning we got up early and headed down to Josh's race... which I will have him post about. The kids and I were able to cheer him on as he ran, we loved being there to support him.
After his race was over we went straight to Bryson's last swimming lesson

Bryson loves to be in the water and does great. Josh also enjoyed playing with him in the water, since a parent has to be in the water with him.

We are now rested and look forward to another fun weekend with the Kentucky Derby & Stake conference.
