It is always one of our favorite things to do while we are in California is to go to 6 Flags Animal Kingdom. We were very grateful for Grandma & Grandpa coming with us. We had the PERFECT weather that day. Something we don't get back at home during the summer. Back home if it is summer it is humid and it doesn't ever cool down until fall. So we were loving all the weather out in California.
We had a lot of fun watching the seal and sea lion show. The whale show was not a normal show since they were just practicing doing a show with the whale and his new friend, the dolphin, that they rescued from somewhere (I don't remember where). But it was very educational. We also checked out all the other animals they had there (elephants, tiger, walrus', sting rays, giraffes, penguins, dolphins, and I'm sure there was more but I can't remember).
Then there were the rides. Megan has finally reached a good height where she could go on almost every ride. She couldn't go on a couple of the really big rides. Bryson was about an inch too short to go on most of the rides. He was able to ride every ride in the little kid area which he loved. We were a little worried since he didn't seem to really like the roller coasters at Disney World, but 7 months older and he's a little braver too. He loved all the rides. Unfortunately Connor couldn't ride on anything except for Thomas the Train. We thought that it was a little ridicules some of the rides they wouldn't let him ride.Josh and I were even able to go on one of the big roller coasters thanks to Mom for watching the kids while we went. It is one of my favorite rides, Medusa. Unfortunately this was the ride that stole our cell phone out of Josh's pocket while we were riding. I'm sure it is very common but a big bummer. We reported it at lost and found and called the next day but they never found it. We are pretty sure that it is in pieces under the coaster. So we had to go buy a new phone the next day. Anyways. We had a great time at the park and we look forward to going next time. Thanks Mom & Dad for taking us, we all had a GREAT time... minus losing our phone. At least we won't ever do that again.
