We were so glad to be out in California since it had been a couple of years since we had been out to visit. We weren't able to see everyone that we wanted to, but enjoyed visiting with everyone that we did and are grateful for everyone coming over to see us. Here are a few things that we did on our vacation.
********** We took a couple of walks down to feed the horses (Ty & Sealy) with the dogs. The kids loved seeing the horses, Megan was very good with the horses, Bryson was still a little standoffish and Connor kept making the cute face below, and didn't like getting up close. I don't blame him since the animal is huge compared to him. Megan also had told us that she is going to be a horse rider when she is 9 and we are going to get a horse and put it in our backyard. (I think we are going to have to move for that to happen)
**********Grandpa & Josh took the kids for rides on his new four wheeler around the yard. They loved it and didn't want to stop.
**********We spent our down time swimming in the pool and hanging in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed swimming and would do it all day if they could. Bryson seemed to get better at swimming and Connor got a little more daring. He learned to stick his face under the water over and over.
Megan jumped off the diving board while we were there. She did it first with her floaties on and then we had her take them off... here is the video of her jumping for her first time without her floaties.
She then wouldn't stop jumping off the diving board... she LOVED it!

One night Grandpa promised them that they could sit in the hot tub and look at the stars, so we let them stay up late with Grandpa and Aunt Kristin to look at the stars, they loved it. Megan was able to find the big dipper and was talking about constellations for the next couple of days.
There is more to come... just another day.

The kids got better and better in the pool and were such good dog walkers for us. Betty sure got her workouts with all the grand kids in town!
Oh what fun times with the grandparents. That pool looks like lots of fun!
I LOVE all the pictures! We also went 4-wheeling with the kids and with Tosha. It was her first time and I told her that we took you for your first time except yours didn't end so well. I loved the video of Megan. SO CUTE! I love her smile at the end she is so proud of herself. It looks like you had a fun time out in California I'm glad you were able to finally make it out there.
